Introduction to Internet:

Internet is a worldwide net, which is wired or wireless mode of communication. It connects the computers worldwide from different places.


Need of Internet:

When two computers connect using internet they can send and receive all kind of information (images, videos, important files etc). In simple words it is use to exchange our thoughts.

Introduction to Bluetooth:

Bluetooth is technology basically it is used to share data over a small distance.

Bluetooth tethering:

In simple words Bluetooth Tethering means sharing internet by connecting Bluetooth.

How to share internet using Bluetooth tethering?

Please read all the details step by step given below.

Step1:

Turn on Bluetooth of your laptop and mobile.
In laptop:

There are three ways to start Bluetooth in laptop given below.

First:


Go to the Setting  >  Click on the Search bar  >  Type Bluetooth and then press enter  >  Then select Bluetooth and other devices setting  >  Turn on Bluetooth.


Second:


Go to Action Centre  >  right click on Bluetooth  >  then click on Go to setting  >  Turn on Bluetooth 


Hint: Action centre is present at below right corner of the laptop.



Third:


Go to the Setting  >  click on Devices  >  Turn on Bluetooth


In mobile:


Go to Setting  >  Click on Bluetooth  >  Turn on Bluetooth


Following is the image showing Search bar, Devices and Network & Internet.


Step 2:

Connect the Bluetooth of laptop and mobile.

Click the Bluetooth name of your laptop in your mobile. Then you will get the conformation message on your mobile and laptop to pair Bluetooth. Click on pair Bluetooth.

Step3:

Start the internet in your mobile.

Step4:

In mobile:


Go to the Setting  >  Turn on Bluetooth tethering


If you are not getting Bluetooth tethering option directly in setting then follow following way


Go to the Setting  >  select on More option  >  Turn on Bluetooth tethering


Now you can use the internet of your mobile phone on your laptop using Bluetooth tethering.

If you are not able to use internet of your mobile on your laptop using above 4 steps, then you have to follow next step also. 

Step5:

This is the most important step so be careful while doing this.

There are 2 ways to do this step given below.

First:


Go to the Setting  >  Click on Network & Internet  >  Click on Change adapter option  >  Click on Bluetooth Network Connection option  >  Right click on Your device  >  Select option Connect using  >  Then click on Direct connection



Second:


Go to Control panel  >  Click on Network & Internet  >  Click on Network and sharing centre  >  Click on Change adapter option  >  Click on Bluetooth Network Connection option  >  Right click on Your device  >  Select option Connect using  >  Then click on Direct connection


Note: Some steps may be different according to the different mobiles, tablets, Pc’s and laptops.



Advantages:

1) If you don’t have any another way to access internet on your then you can use this method.

2) Using Bluetooth tethering you can save battery of your laptop.

Disadvantages:

1) It drains battery of your mobile fast.

2) It is slow when compared to the other methods of internet sharing.
