How to safely delete or remove temporary files from windows 10

Introduction to temporary files:

When you start to use any application files are created by an application for its own purposes known as temporary files. Temporary files are also known as foo files or temp files.

Why they generate?

Temporary files are generated for the various purpose. For understanding purpose, we can say that, temporary files are used to recover lost data if the program or computer is abnormally stop.

Need of deleting temporary files?

Most of the program creates temporary files and left them behind, they never delete them. Temporary files consume lot of disc space. This is the reason we need to delete the temporary files.

How to safely delete/remove temporary files from windows 10

This blog contains two different methods to delete temporary files. First method contains following 5 easy steps.

1.Go to Setting  >  Click on System

You can see in fig.1 as shown below.

2. Click on Storage

You can see in fig.2 as shown below.

 

3. Click on This PC

You can see in fig.3 as shown below.

4. Click on Temporary files

You can see in fig.4 as shown below.

5. Select the square box “Temporary files”  >  Click on “Remove files”

You can see in fig.5 as shown below.

Now the temporary files from your Local disc (C:) are deleted.

How to automatically delete temporary files from windows 10

This is second method to remove/delete temporary files from your laptop or PC.

1.Go to Setting  >  Click on System

You can see in fig.1

2. Click on Storage

You can see in fig.2

3. "ON" the Storage sense

You can see in Fig.6 as given below. 

After this setting the temporary files from your laptop or PC will be automatically deleted.

Conclusion:

It is necessary to delete the temporary files from your laptop or PC. Otherwise you have face the storage problem. In general, you can see the whole process in following manner:

Go to setting  >  Click on system  >  Click on storage  >  Click on this PC  >  Click on temporary files  >  Select the square box “Temporary files”  >  Click on “Remove files”

Now the temporary files are deleted.
